Dr. Tarun Kumar Baid

Dr.Tarun Kumar Baid did his MD in Respiratory Medicine from Sardar Patel Medical College and IDCCM Critical Care Medicine from Medica Super Speciality Hospital, Kolkata. He worked as a Consultant in the Respiratory Critical Care Department of Apollo Multi-speciality Hospital, Kolkata. He also completed DAA(Asthma & Allergic Diseases) which is endorsed by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the University of Colorado, USA. He has long experience treating various allergic diseases, including asthma & allergic rhinitis. He is also an expert in the field of Critical Care Medicine with working experience in top-notch hospitals in India.

He believes in applying his best expertise in treatment procedures for different chest ailments, be it a minor infection or a complicated state. His role primarily involves handling both out & in-patient and emergency services. He has a keen interest in Pulmonary Interventions and is experienced in Pulmonary procedures like Bronchoscopy, Thoracoscopy, Cryo-biopsy, Endobronchial Ultrasound & Guided Biopsy. He performs Pulmonary diagnostics like Spirometry, FENO (Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide), DLCO (Diffusion Capacity of the Lungs for Carbon Monoxide), and Impulse Oscillometry. He is also certified to perform Skin Touch Tests (for allergy diagnosis) & to provide Allergen Immunotherapy (for Allergic Disease Treatment) to his patients.

During the last 10+ years, he has been involved in training programs for residents, DNB students, nursing staff, and medical technologists.
